How to Complete Your eTravel Declaration in the eGovPH App
A guide to completing the mandatory eTravel declaration for incoming and outgoing travelers using the integrated eGovPH app.
All passengers arriving in or departing from the Philippines are required to register on the government's eTravel platform. Instead of searching for the official website on your browser—which is often targeted by clone websites that charge fake fees—you can complete your egovph travel declaration securely inside the official app. This guide outlines the steps to register your travel details.
What is the eTravel System?
The eTravel system is a joint initiative of the Bureau of Immigration, Bureau of Customs, Department of Health, and Department of Tourism. It replaces the old paper arrival and departure cards with a digital form, streamlining immigration processing at the airport. Registering on the portal is entirely free.
Steps to Register Travel Details on eGovPH
To complete your declaration before your flight:
- Log into your verified eGovPH app.
- Scroll down the homepage and select the "eTravel" icon.
- Select your status: "Arrival" (if flying into the Philippines) or "Departure" (if flying out).
- Fill out the form with your travel details, including your flight number, airline, departure/arrival date, airport of origin, and destination.
- Answer the basic health declaration questions regarding recent symptoms or travel history.
- Review your details and tap "Submit".
- A green QR code will be generated on your screen. Save a screenshot of this QR code on your phone or print a copy. You must show this QR code to the immigration officers and quarantine staff at the airport before boarding or exiting.
Important Travel Tips
You can complete your declaration up to 72 hours before your scheduled flight time. If you are traveling as a family, each member (including children) must have an individual declaration and separate QR code. Completing the form inside the app is faster because your personal profile details are filled out automatically.
